My career as an artist began in the field of Graphic Design. While employed at a Design studio in Toronto, I decided to take another course at the Ontario College of Art on illustration, taught by Will Davies. After several more years as the studio artist, I finally made the decision to leave and become a freelance illustrator. Over the next 30 years I would create art for clients such as National Geographic, Harlequin books and many other publishers as well as working for several Advertising agencies and few magazines.
I now choose to paint for subjects that appeal to me. The choice of subjects includes, “en plein air”, Marine subjects, Recreating Historical events and Portraiture.
My website has a broad selection of paintings.
I am a member of: American Society of Marine Artists, Canadian Society of Marine Artists, Canadian Aviation Artist Association, Oil Painters of America.
