"I see myself as a kind of visual story teller using the tools of my trade, oil paint, brushes and canvas to tell the story. I'm interested in trying to convey a mood or my impression about the subject. To capture in my painting, a sense of what is taking place now or might be in the near future. And therefore, create these scenes for the primary pleasure of doing so and watching my idea unfold on the canvas. The challenge is always, choosing the moment and angle to best portray the unfolding scene in an engaging way."
