Born in Toronto but with deep Nova Scotia roots, I now reside in Granville Ferry. All my life I have been drawn to golden hour scenes with grassy meadows and graceful elms. Though my work is produced in my studio, it emanates from hazy memories from the past, nurtured by the tangible lush, pastoral Nova Scotia landscapes surrounding us. I've worked in soft pastel, acrylic and presently in oil, endeavoring to create atmospheric, moody landscapes which convey a feeling for the passage of time and evoke a sense of quietude and pensiveness.

ARTSPLACE’s vision is to share stimulating work and strengthen artistic life in our region.
Creating environments for art and arts practitioners to thrive is key to our work, as is supporting audiences in their growth, awareness, and excitement about art.
