Shannon graduated with a Visual Arts Drawing Major and a SPACE (Social Practice and Community Engagement) Minor from Emily Carr University. She is inspired by the learning curves of new mediums and finding community and connection through art practices. She experiments with drawing, painting, collage, videography, sound design, animation, poetry and prose. Reoccurring themes in her work include queerness in nature and body, landscapes of the mind, narration, critical theory and art therapy.
