Born on the South Shore of Nova Scotia in the Shelburne area, I developed a love for art at a young age. At the age of twelve, I started summer classes with local artist Lio Lo in basic drawing techniques and watercolour. Once I turned sixteen I assisted her in her lessons. I continued to draw in my late teens/early twenties but rekindled my love for painting through acrylics later on in life.
Building off the fundamentals that I learned in my youth, I taught myself acrylics and oil, and they are my preferred mediums to use. My main focus of interest has been Landscapes, Animal Portraits and Abstract. I try to find as much time as I can, to get lost in a new idea and push myself further outside of my comfort zone. I hope you enjoy my perspective!
