Natural history, flowers, birds, wonders of memory and science coexist in Rose Adams’ celebratory paintings and drawings. Collaged papers, glazes of colour and thick grids of paint surround fine drawn lines and painted vignettes.
She has an extensive exhibition record, both nationally and in Europe. Her twenty-five year retrospective, “Birds, Bones, and Brains” was held at Saint Mary’s University Art Gallery during 2014. Her work can be found in the Canada Council Art Bank and the Nova Scotia Art Bank. She teaches at NSCADU and her work is sold at Secord and Teichert Galleries.
