Paulette Melanson

Paulette Melanson was raised in the small village of Scoudouc, New Brunswick and moved to Nova Scotia in 1985 for work and to fulfill her lifelong dream to be close to her Acadian heritage and to attend courses at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax. She has been drawing and painting most of her life. In 2011 she took early retirement to pursue her art practice full time. She now resides in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.

Paulette is both a landscape and abstract painter. Her art work is based on visions, dreams, the outdoors and her personal life experience.
