I think of myself as a realist, of a sort. I am a watercolourist at heart. In my lifelong dedication to my art, I have extended my facility to several other mediums, mixing and creating subtle objectifications that describe a narrative. Painting for fifty years now, My work focuses upon capturing those moments where civilization brushes up against time. My series’ explore contemplative images of stones and water or sun-drenched architecturals, and gestural landscapes of the local countryside. There is a sense of pause in my work.
