"There is a sense of longing for those after school escapes with my pencil and sketchbook. I create within a comfort of the darker times in life. My work reflects this side of me through the usage of deep shadows and a tendancy to use macabre symbolism throughout my artwork.
I am a self taught artist that prefers to create with a pencil and sketchbook, though I enjoy practicing with other mediums such as oil paints and watercolour inks as well.
I'm from away and moved to the Annapolis Valley in late 2021. I often catch myself enjoying surreal moments while just running errands. I am in awe of the natural and man-made beauty in the valley. From the foggy mountains to the shaker sided buildings to the high tides to the century old cemeteries; I am always finding something new to admire here."
