Gary D. Selig - Paint the Town 2026 | In-Town/Outdoor Artist

Gary D. Selig of Bridgewater, NS, was born in Annapolis Royal in 1957. Gary drew realistically since age five and started to paint at age 60. He is self schooled, painting year-round in his home studio, when not painting on location. Member of the Lunenburg Art Gallery Society and the Regional Hospital’s South Shore Galleries program, Gary shows and sells through both venues. Gary participates annually in a number of Nova Scotia plein-air festivals. His subjects include portraiture, still life, wildlife and figurative work. Gary paints large and in acrylics, watercolours, landscapes from plein-air studies and recently, studio work in oils.
