Runners at Paint the Town - one of the Summer Student's jobs will be to manage the Runners!


Student Employment Opportunity: Annual 

June to August

​The Annapolis Region Community Arts Council (ARCAC), Annapolis Royal, is hiring a Summer Student for the role of Summer Programming Coordinator.  The student will assist in coordinating summer programs in collaboration with gallery staff, including Paint the Town, ArtSeen, student summer camps, workshops, artist talks, and film screenings.

Duties will include participant registrations and communications, volunteer coordination, data collection and management, planning and coordination. General duties will include greeting gallery visitors, telephone use, emails, social media, mail, filing, processing payments.


Applicants can be in grade 12 but must be registered for a full-time accredited secondary or university program the following academic year, students must also be a permanent resident of Nova Scotia or have resided in the province for at least six months prior to this work term.

Applicants must show a keen interest in the arts, community, volunteerism and be mature, organised, reliable,  and available to work evenings and weekends for an 8 to 12-week period between June 1 and August 29. $15 / hour, 35 hours per week.
