Elizabeth Mack - Paint the Town 2026 | In-Town/Outdoor Artist
Elizabeth Mack (b. 1999, Halifax, NS, Canada) is a painter whose work is rooted in the landscapes she first encountered through environmental research. Trained in ecology, she once balanced fieldwork in seabird islands, coral reefs, and fishing boats with a quiet sketching habit that eventually reignited her passion for art.
After completing her master’s thesis, she transitioned to painting full-time, drawing inspiration from the same remote nature that framed her scientific journey. Her work seeks to preserve the moments of stillness and observation that first drew her to both science and art
