Connie Burnett was born in Kemptville, NS, graduated from Acadia University, taught school for several years, lived in NFLD for 30. "I like working with watercolours, as I like the transparency of the light, I paint things, rocks, flowers, pine cones, seascapes, landscapes that I enjoy looking at. I have worked in private collections throughout Atlantic Canada. And have won several prizes for my work over the years, the largest one being one thousand dollars for a work in For Love of the Land, a millennium show which toured Canada in 2000. In 2025 I had 22 paintings exhibited on the art wall, Wolfville Memorial Library."
