Cassandra Stubbington - Paint the Town 2026 | In-Town/Outdoor Artist

Cassandra Stubbington is a visual artist who works with pastels to create bright psychedelic drawings. Raised in rural Nova Scotia, Cassandra was drawn to wildlife and nature from an early age. During her time at NSCAD she became interested in studying how other creatures’ vision has evolved to include certain color receptors. Now she creates work that plays with the color receptors we have in intriguing ways by using bright, saturated colors to render objects, people and animals. She has received a Bachelor of Fine Art from NSCAD University in 2022 and currently lives and works in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
