Bonnie is a practising artist living in Annapolis Royal, Scotia/Mi'kma'ki. In addition to drawing, printmaking and installation, she is known for her earlier work in textile. The dynamics of experimenting, building on the unexpected, and pursuing increasingly sophisticated compositions drives her practice. Bonnie brings a similar philosophy to teaching, encouraging students to push themselves through their work and take it to the next level.
Bonnie is an active founding member of Elephant Grass Printmakers Society,a not-for-profit printmaking studio.
A residency at Port Bickerton Lighthouse resulted in a deep dive into working with cyanotype, an alternative photography process.
