Luckily, we weathered the storm without damage (we hope you did too) and we're looking forward ArtyParty Denim & Diamonds Dance on Saturday April 18, 2020. Keep your jeans and jewels at the ready, it's the same great party, just better weather!

Bring your party mood and personal style, whether you dress-up glam or dress-down in your favourite jeans this is the party for everyone!

Live music from Award Winning and "Best of Halifax 2017" nominee Merimac will get you on the dance floor. And that’s not all: there’s an art sale, 50/50 draw (tickets on sale NOW), raffle and superb refreshments.

The party happens at Port Royal Legion Branch 21, 66 Victoria Street in Annapolis Royal NS. Thanks to the generous contributions of artist, Barbara Gibson and ARCAC board member Julia Redgrave, you have a chance to take home two fantastic prizes as part of this year’s Arty Party Denim & Diamonds Dance, April 18.
About the Prizes!
DENIM (Art). In the “denim series” Barbara Gibson (signed Barbara Nelson her maiden name), Wolfville, NS, pen/ink/pencil. Barbara has taken an iconic item (Jeans) and created a close-up view using line and shadow. For this drawing, she added texture and detail by cross hatching with pen and ink and adding coloured pencil or graphite. The drawing is matted and framed (no glass) with painstaking care by local framer, Art Marshall of You’ve Been Framed by Art. Value $350
DIAMONDS (Jewellery). Thanks to the Redgrave family we have a gorgeous antique-heirloom (circa 1920’s) collar-length sterling silver necklace, made in England set with antique paste stones. Necklace restored by Fancy Jewellers. Value $500
