Alix was born in Willemstad on Curaçao, a small beautiful island in the Caribbean, just off the coast of Venezuela. Since the age of 3, drawing has been an important part throughout her life.
She was involved with various art groups and events within the Maritimes, such as The Artists’ Circle, Annapolis Royal Paint the Town (2010-2018 and 2023-present) and the Points East Plein Air Festival (PEI - 2018 and 2019).
Alix is a multimedia artist with a keen interest in fine arts, fibre arts, glass fusing, woodcarving and photography. She loves nature and being outdoors. Especially soending time with her herd of American Mammoth donkeys!
